By constructing a new state-of-the-art facility connected to our current building, we can grow to meet the needs of thousands more animal patients from all across Wisconsin and the United States. We can continue to lead the way in critical research that improves both animal and human health. And we can keep attracting the best and brightest to train the next generation of veterinary medical professionals. Imagine what we can do with more room to grow…
Key Features
We will increase our exam space to better accommodate our growing caseload and decrease client wait times.
Our expanded waiting area will include dedicated space for felines and small exotics to reduce stress.
Our improved ECC unit will offer a more comfortable recovery area and enhanced care for the patients who need it most.
Our large animal patients will have access to year-round lameness and neurological exams in an enclosed arena.
The only facility of its kind in Wisconsin, our isolation wing will provide safer exam and patient recovery space.
We will bring together the expertise of our renowned medical and radiation oncologists for better patient care.
We will expand our imaging capabilities — including an in-house MRI and large animal CT technology.
In addition to areas for hospital rounds, we will create learning spaces for students that encourage group collaboration.
We will expand labs for studying naturally occurring animal and human diseases and increase space for globally vital research on infectious diseases.
Individual recognition opportunities are available and allow the school to celebrate the generosity of campaign heroes who have shared gift commitments of $25,000 and more.
The school is actively working with eligible donors to make their selections. Recognition is being offered based on the size of campaign gift as well as timing in which gifts have been committed. Recognition options include spaces within the new addition as well as the existing building, and includes availability within the UW Veterinary Care teaching hospital, research, educational and multi-purpose spaces. Below are examples of recognition opportunities.
For specific availability and a complete list of options, contact Pat Bowdish or Heidi Kramer.
